The Department of Economics at Universidad de Alcalá invites applications for Assistant Professor (six-year tenure-track position with no need for accreditation) or Tenured Assistant Professor (accredited to “Contratado/a Doctor/a”) positions with starting date in January 2025. The primary responsibilities of this post are to deliver lectures in the area of “Fundamentos del Análisis Económico” in English and Spanish, as well as to conduct high-quality research.
Candidates must have already received a Ph.D. and must demonstrate excellence in research and excellence in teaching. To apply for the tenured position, candidates need to provide: (1) a certification for “Profesor/a Contratado/a Doctor/a” by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), as well as (2) a Spanish Language Certification (Level C1).
